Star girl by Jerry Spinelli ( book review)

   Leo Borlock is one of them , but Stargirl Caraway isn't. Stargirl can be described as eccentric  , bold what else? Innocent?

     When Star girl appears at Mica  high ,she changes the school forever with her kind bizarre ways. She is a gust of fresh air she isn't of them , she doesn't look like them. Leo wants her to be part of them to just like all of the other kids and girls at school. 

  Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli is a refreshing read, just like how Stargirl is refreshing herself. Stargirl taught me one thing to be bold ,kind ,selfless and to be yourself no matter what. Stargirl made  me ask myself this question? How much am I trying to be like others to be plain ,to be normal. You will find yourself asking yourself that same question when you are done with Stargirl. 

This book has definitely touched something in my heart and has changed me forever.

  Stargirl was published in the year 2000, and had a total of 186 pages written by Jerry Spinelli. Jerry Spinelli (born February 1, 1941)  is an American writer of children's novels that feature adolescence and early adulthood. He is best known for Maniac Magee,Stargirl and Wringer.

Star gi was recently adapted to the screen by Disney and is available to stream  on Disney Plus.
