Great news for Book lovers and Netflixers!

 This is surely a wonderful news, Netflix announced this morning that two Nigerian classics will be adapted into movies. 

Mo Abudu recently signed the multi deal which happens to be the first of its kind in Africa. 

 The books are so close to my heart especially Lola Shonenyi's The secret life Baba Segi"s wives a humorous but beautiful story telling the story if polygamy and its complications in a contemporary Nigerian setting.

Lola Shoneyin has written volumes of poetry , The secret life of Baba Segi's wives was her debut novel.

Woke Soyinka's Death and the King's horseman centers on a precolonial western kingdom, in which a king was prevented from committing traditional impeachment suicide by the colonial government which causes complications for the kingdom.

I can't wait to watch them.on Netflix!
