  1. Know your hair type. Whether it is 4a or 4b or 4c… this will help you determine how to treat your hair.

  2. Always moisturize your hair, with good water based hair growth products.

  3. Use satin bonnets and a silk pillow  when sleeping to avoid, letting hair oils ,which you have applies soak  into the pillow. 

  4. Be gentle while combing your hair and finger-detangle it before combing. 

  5. Choose hair products according to your hair type.

  6. Do not frequently use hair dyes. 

  7. Eat a balanced diet.

  8. Do not use tight rubber bands

  9. Wash your hair weekly.

  10. You can use products such as :


  1. Rice water

  2. Castor oil

  3. Fish oil

  4. Onion juice

  5. Aloe Vera

  6. Hot oil treatment

  7. Chebe powder

  8. Moringa


11. Avoid texturizing your hair 

12.   Avoid tight braids 

13. Adopt the use of protective hairstyles
